The Gift of Salvation: the true Hope.

In a world which crumbles around us, we often feel discouraged and without faith. We may wonder when someone will come and save us, and we will search and search, tryign to fill up that feeling of beign lost with material possesions, money, wong relationships, and other wordly desires. But as we look around, we see that the hole in which we are digging is becoming deeper and deeper with no escape. But there is.

Ephesians 1:7-8
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.

John 3:16-17
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

This is our Hope: Jesus Christ! He left the realms of Paradise, Heaven, to come down to this earth as a humble baby. He lived a life of perfection, want to only glorify His Father, who wa sin Heaven. He preformed miracles that no man could preform. There was no flaw, no sin, no fault within Him, nor had there ever been. But He knew that if He did not die for us, sinners unworthy of His aweosme greatness, each and every one of us would go to Hell. He loved His children that much- that He gave His life up for them. He died a painful death on a cross which He did not deserve. But this is not the end of the story. In fact, you may know it well- it is the story of Easter: three days later He rose up again, fully alive! He ascended into Heaven to be with His Father. Because of Him, we have a hope for eternity.

Jesus Christ is our hope. If you want to know more about this amazing grace if God’s, email us at somethingreater@gmail.com. We are eager to answer any questions you may have.
