Making Your Home a Haven

How many of you have trouble keeping your rooms clean? How many of you prefer to just scoop up your stuff and shove it away somewhere? How many of you have parents who often nag exhort you on the condition of your room? *raises hand*

Someday ladies, we will not just have a room to take care of, most likely. Married or not, most of us will either have a house or an apartment that we will have to look after. What better time to start preparing than now?

That’s why I’m joining Crystal’s challenge- Making Your Home a Haven- over at www.biblicalwomanhoodonline.com/blog.htm We will be making changes to our house (er..room) to make it a beautiful and inviting place! (This goes along with my last post- using beauty to glorify God).

So, join her and I as we make our little homes more of a haven than a trainwreck!

Sounds good! I look forward to your posts. It’s all to easy to leave our room messy, when it feels so good and uplifting to have a clean and inviting place!

I think about this all the time with my older daughter–who is only 8. I tell her this room is like her little house and she needs to keep it for the Lord. It’s like a practice ground!
